Dynamic Glyph for Ingress

The Glyph sequence, in view while you draw

Coming soon to the App Store

The sequence, as the game shows it

A floating window stays on top of the game while you play. It shows the whole sequence, with the shape to draw now outlined, and it never covers the row the app reads from.

In the Dynamic Island

The Glyph to draw now and the one after it, on the Island and on the Lock Screen, so you can keep your thumb where it is.

Every hack counted

Each hack's result and the gear it dropped are kept in Statistics, with charts by day, by hack length and by command, and a CSV export when you want the raw numbers.

Nothing leaves your phone

No account, no server, no analytics: the app has no networking code at all. Reading the screen happens on the iPhone, with the system recording indicator visible throughout. Syncing your results through your own private iCloud is optional and off until you turn it on.

Before you install it

Dynamic Glyph is unofficial software, made by a player, with no connection to Niantic Spatial, who run Ingress. Their Player Guidelines list “using modified or unofficial software” as cheating. This app does not modify the game and never talks to it: it reads your own screen, on your own phone. The guidelines draw no line between software that changes the game and software that helps you play it.

A violation can lead to a warning, degraded gameplay, suspension or permanent termination, sometimes without warning, and can reach every Niantic Spatial product. That risk is yours.

Read the Player Guidelines and the Terms of Service.

What you need

  • An iPhone running iOS 18 or later.
  • Ingress, installed and signed in. It is a separate app and is not included.
  • For Glyph mode, your own Glyph list file. Counting gear needs no file.
